OVERVIEW
Leading in Crisis is a series of publication briefs documenting the experiences of schools and districts navigating the unprecedented challenges of COVID-19 closures in 2020. Drawing on interviews with 120 principals across 19 states, the series captures the perspectives of educational leaders in urban, suburban, and rural communities as they responded to a rapidly evolving crisis.
DESIGN ROLE
I designed the series to establish a cohesive visual identity across multiple publications, transforming complex research findings into accessible, engaging, and easy-to-navigate briefs. Through consistent typography, thoughtful layouts, and a unified design system, the publications present critical insights while maintaining a recognizable identity throughout the series.
